We had a WoNdErFuL stay at the Maldron from the moment we checked in with Gerardo. His professional demeanor and friendly smile was so welcoming. On our second day he recognized us and asked about our stay as we passed the front desk. I was so impressed. The room was comfortable and relaxing and breakfast was wonderful. Thanks so much.

Very pleasantly surprised by how well appointed the hotel was. Modern and clean public area and rooms. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful at check in and happy to store cases after checking out. The beds were comfortable and the showers powerful and hot. Breakfast was good. The location was perfect for us being so close to the bus station and the city. My only negative was the tv, you have to hook it to your own mobile device to stream channels, but I couldn’t sync to it at all.

I recently had an unfortunate experience at this hotel. Despite booking in advance and having a legitimate reason for needing to cancel, the management insisted that I pay for at least one night to cancel my reservation. The legitimate reason was that a second booking was made without confirmation on my end. I spoke to several managers and customer service advisors, but no one was of help. They made an error, not me, yet they were unyielding and not very understanding. It was my 1-year anniversary, and they ruined the full experience. I had stayed here before and it was nice, but this time around they wanted extra money for not my mistake. The customer service was disappointing, and I felt like my concerns were not taken seriously. I understand that hotels have policies, but a bit of flexibility and empathy would have gone a long way. I hope the management reconsiders their approach to customer service in the future.
