Tate Britain is a place where arts from the past meet new contemporary art. My favorite piece is Ophelia she is remarkable. Interior of museum was stunning every corner, all the lights, wall color, ceiling, tiles is in their best when presented with arts. Don’t forget food at cafe is pretty decent and delicious.
Such a fascinating museum with a wonderful collection of classical art alongside a selection of interesting contemporary pieces. There is a wonderful mural in the stairwell currently that is gorgeously colorful.
The museum was very quiet and not too busy, making for a pleasant afternoon browsing the artwork and seeing the collections. Highly recommend as it is also free.
Absolutely beautiful and admission is free! Accessibility can be a struggle everywhere in the UK if mobility is an issue for you but luckily almost everything here is accessible with a lift and there's SO much to be seen even just on the first floor. I highly recommend it, it's worth the visit!
Went to the 80s exhibition, well curated, taking us back to the GB in the 1980s, forming a diverse society with diverse cultures.
Check out the stairs and architecture of the building. If you are a Turner and Henry Moore lover, don’t miss this gallery.
Don’t forget to check out their library, check opening time.
Nearest tube station - Pimlico
With a nice cafes and bookshops.
This place is really quiet and peaceful, they rearranged the pieces of art. Every time I go there, it looks different. I enjoyed the paintings of the Victorian era. I liked the statues too.
